We start from our base and head along the club road with stunning views over the neighbouring islands of Nisyros and Kalymnos, the Dikeos mountain range, and the Bay of Kefalos. Passing the airport, we ride alongside the classic blue-and-white chapels that define the Greek landscape — until we descend into Peacock Valley.

Nestled in an idyllic pine forest, the valley is home to dozens of free-roaming peacocks — the proud namesakes of this hidden gem. Share the trails with playful cats, and keep your eyes open for the gentle Greek tortoise (locally known as "Helona") making its unhurried way through the undergrowth.

After exploring a small traditional chapel, we finish the tour the right way — with a stop at the Donkey Tavern Fitori, a truly local spot where good food, cold drinks, and Greek hospitality await. The perfect reward after a beautiful ride.
